Kalyan-Dombivli is supplied by Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL), trading as Mahavitaran, through its Kalyan circle in the Konkan region. It is not served by Adani Electricity Mumbai, Tata Power or BEST. Those three are separate licensees confined to Mumbai city and its suburbs, and their tariffs, portals and net-metering forms do not apply to a roof in Dombivli or Khadakpada. If a quote mentions an Adani Electricity net meter for your KDMC address, the vendor has not read your bill.
One neighbouring fact is worth knowing, because it confuses people. Torrent Power runs the distribution franchise for the Bhiwandi circle and for the Shil, Mumbra and Kalwa sub-divisions, under an input-based agreement with MSEDCL. MSEDCL remains the licensee in those areas, and none of them is inside Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation limits. Your application goes to Mahavitaran, and the Kalyan circle office is the one that inspects your roof and issues your net meter.
Commercial terms come from the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC), not from the discom and not from us. Under the MERC framework your system is capped at your sanctioned load, every consumer category may apply, and surplus units you export are credited against units you draw later.
