Running a gala in the Waliv belt, a workshop, a nursery or a clinic rather than a home? The economics work differently and the rest of this page is written for homeowners.
The manufacturing belt east of the highway, Waliv, Sativali, Gauraipada, Golani Naka, Gokhivare, Navghar and Chinchpada, plus the smaller Papdy estate on the west side, gets no PM Surya Ghar subsidy. Those units claim accelerated depreciation on the asset, which for a taxpaying business often beats what the residential subsidy pays, and they can skip capital outlay entirely through OPEX or RESCO models.
Most of this belt is multi-storey gala stock rather than standalone sheds, so the roof is shared and the metering question is settled before the engineering one. We handle that: roof rights, common-area allocation, structural design to coastal wind-load standards, MSEDCL registration and long-term O&M.
The green belt around the towns is a separate case. Vasai's villages still grow sonchafa and other flowers, bananas, betel leaf, coconut and chikoo, and those growers run pumps, cold rooms and packing sheds on agricultural or LT commercial connections. Sizing there follows the pump duty cycle and the picking season, not a household bill, so we survey the load pattern before proposing anything.
