Price, size and savings Find your bill. Read across.
Find your monthly bill in the left column and read across. That single row gives you the system size, what it generates on a Panvel roof, the shadow-free area it needs, the subsidy it earns and what it costs. No form stands between you and the number.
These are indicative Panvel market ranges for 2026, covering Tier-1 modules, a branded inverter, galvanised structure, protection and installation. They are not a Heaven Green Energy quotation. Subsidy figures are the central PM Surya Ghar amounts published on pmsuryaghar.gov.in. Generation assumes a shadow-free, roughly south-facing roof.
The 3 kW cliff decides most Panvel purchases. PM Surya Ghar pays ₹30,000 per kW for the first two kilowatts and ₹18,000 for the third, then nothing. So the subsidy covers roughly 31 to 39% of a 3 kW system and only 11 to 14% of a 10 kW one. If your bill sits on the border between 3 kW and 5 kW, 3 kW almost always returns more rupees per rupee spent.
A cheap quote is cheap in the steel, not the glass. Galvanising thickness, fastener grade, cable size, earthing and surge protection separate the bottom of each band from the top. On the Konkan coast those are the exact items that decide whether an array is still bolted down after a July squall. Ask for a written Bill of Materials naming make, model and quantity.
Panvel has a society problem the price table cannot show. Much of New Panvel, Kamothe and Kalamboli is CIDCO-planned flats, where the terrace is common property. A quote is meaningless until you know whether you are installing on a private bungalow roof, a society common terrace under a resolution, or a shared-metering arrangement. Settle that first, then compare prices.
Access costs money in Panvel and honest quotes say so. Lifting galvanised structure and modules to the terrace of an eight-storey New Panvel building is not the same job as carrying them up a bungalow staircase in the old town. Hoisting, scaffolding, society-approved working hours and monsoon-window scheduling all sit inside the installed price. A quote that ignores your building height has either not seen your roof or intends to renegotiate later.
Why there is no rupee saving in that table
There is no rupee saving in that table, and that is deliberate. The rupee figure depends on the tariff slab you personally reach on your MSEDCL bill, which differs from your neighbour's and changes with consumption. We will not guess it to make a page look better. Bring your last bill to the free survey and we will work your exact number out in front of you. We use your own tariff and your own twelve-month consumption rather than a national average. Prefer to work it out yourself first? Put your bill into our
