Price, size and savings Find your bill. Read across.
Latur solar prices are simple once someone writes them down. Start at the left with the monthly bill printed on your MSEDCL statement, then read across. You will see the system size that bill justifies, what that size makes here, the clear roof it needs, and the cost once the subsidy is deducted. No form stands between you and the number.
These are indicative Latur market ranges for 2026 covering Tier-1 modules, a branded inverter, hot-dip galvanised structure, protection gear, cabling and installation. They are not a Heaven Green Energy quotation. Subsidy figures are the central PM Surya Ghar amounts published on pmsuryaghar.gov.in. Generation assumes a shadow-free roof facing roughly south.
The subsidy stops dead at 3 kW, and that changes the maths. You get ₹30,000 for each of the first two kilowatts and ₹18,000 for the third. After that, nothing. So ₹78,000 wipes out a third to two-fifths of a 3 kW system in Latur and barely a seventh of a 10 kW one. If your bill sits on the fence between 3 kW and 5 kW, run the sums on units consumed over twelve months rather than on one summer bill. Units are what an array cancels.
The cheap Latur quote is cheap where you cannot see it. The spread between the low and high end of each band is not the logo on the panel. It is galvanising thickness, cable cross-section, earthing pits, surge protection and the quality of the mounting hardware. Ask for a written Bill of Materials listing make, model and quantity against every line item. Without it you are comparing two totals, not two systems.
One warning that is specific to this city. Latur roofs bake. Several local quotes shave cost by clamping the array flat onto the terrace slab. That chokes airflow under the modules, pushes cell temperature up and steals output in April and May, the exact months you bought the system for. Insist on a raised structure with real clearance underneath, and get the clearance written into the quote.
Why there is no rupee saving in that table
The table deliberately shows no rupee saving. Your saving depends on the tariff slab you personally occupy, which is printed on your own MSEDCL bill and differs by category and by consumption. Putting a number here would be a guess dressed as a fact. Bring your last bill to the free survey and we will work the figure out with you on the spot. We will also look at your sanctioned load and your last twelve months of units. Both change the answer. Prefer to work it out yourself first? Put your bill into our
