Price, size and savings Find your bill. Read across.
Most Sangli solar pages hide the price behind a callback form or repeat a national average that fits nobody. One table answers it instead. Find your monthly bill on the left, then read across for system size, monthly units, roof needed and cost after subsidy.
These are indicative Sangli market ranges for 2026 covering Tier-1 modules, a branded inverter, galvanised structure, protection and installation labour. They are not a Heaven Green Energy quotation. Subsidy amounts are the central PM Surya Ghar figures published on pmsuryaghar.gov.in. Generation assumes a shadow-free, roughly south-facing roof.
Size against units, not rupees. Read the units figure off your MSEDCL bill rather than the amount payable, because units are what a solar system actually cancels. Tariff slabs, fuel adjustment charges and fixed charges move the rupee total around; the kilowatt-hours are the stable quantity. Shadow-free is the operative phrase in the roof column as well. An overhead tank, a stair-room or a neighbour's parapet shading the array for two hours a day costs more output than owners expect. On the tight plots around Ganpati Peth and Shaniwar Peth, an elevated structure earns its extra steel.
The 3 kW cliff is real. The subsidy pays ₹30,000 per kW for the first two kilowatts and ₹18,000 for the third, then nothing. So it covers roughly a third of a 3 kW system but barely a seventh of a 10 kW one. If your bill sits on the border, 3 kW returns the most rupees per rupee spent.
The Sangli-specific warning: ask who is actually installing. A good deal of local selling is done by traders who book the order, take a deposit and hand the roof to a crew they have never supervised. Ask for the installing entity's name, the PM Surya Ghar empanelment, and a written Bill of Materials listing module make, inverter model, structure specification and cable gauge. Without that document you are comparing three prices for three different things.
Why there is no rupee saving in that table
You will notice the table shows no rupee saving. That is deliberate. Your saving depends on the tariff slab you personally reach each month, which is printed on your own MSEDCL bill and differs between a Vishrambag flat and a Kupwad workshop. Guessing it here would be a sales number, not an engineering one. Bring twelve months of bills to the free survey and we will work the figure out with you. Prefer to work it out yourself first?
