Price, size and savings Find your bill. Read across.
Most Anand solar pages advertise a rupees-per-watt number with no system attached to it. That figure tells you nothing you can buy. Find your monthly bill in the left column instead. Then read across for the size that matches it, the units it makes here, the roof it needs and the cost after subsidy.
These are indicative market ranges for Anand in 2026, covering Tier-1 modules, a branded inverter, a galvanised mounting structure, protection gear and installation labour. They are not a Heaven Green Energy quotation, and no price is firm until a survey is done on your roof. Subsidy amounts are the central PM Surya Ghar figures published on pmsuryaghar.gov.in. Generation assumes a shadow-free, roughly south-facing roof.
Size against units, not rupees. Your MGVCL bill prints both, and only the units figure holds still. Take twelve months of readings, work out the monthly average, then pick the system that covers it. Rupee totals move with slab rates and fuel charges, so a system sized off the amount is sized off a moving target. The roof column says shadow-free for a reason. An overhead water tank, a stair room or a neighbour's parapet taking two hours of morning sun costs you more output than any brochure will admit.
The 3 kW cliff decides most Anand residential orders. PM Surya Ghar pays ₹30,000 for each of the first two kilowatts and ₹18,000 for the third. Past that it pays nothing at all. So the subsidy covers 35 to 43% of a 3 kW system and only 12 to 15% of a 10 kW one. If your household average sits between 350 and 450 units, 3 kW returns more per rupee spent than anything bigger.
A cheap Anand quote is cheap in the steel, not the glass. Buyers here compare modules and stop. The first line a bottom-of-market quote thins is galvanising thickness and fastener grade, then cable gauge, earthing and surge protection. That matters on the open, flat-land roofs around Lambhvel, Jitodia and the Karamsad edge, where nothing breaks the wind. Ask for a written Bill of Materials naming make, model and quantity on every line. Without it you are comparing two numbers, not two systems.
Why there is no rupee saving in that table
The table carries no rupee saving figure, and that is deliberate. What you save depends on the slab you personally sit in, your sanctioned load and your connection category. A dairy chilling unit on an LT commercial tariff saves at a completely different rate from a household in Sardarganj. Guessing it here would be dishonest.
