Bhopal is supplied by Madhya Pradesh Madhya Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited (MPMKVVCL), the Central Discom, whose head office is in Bhopal and whose portal is portal.mpcz.in. Madhya Pradesh splits distribution three ways, and the three are separate companies with separate portals, separate field offices and separate application queues. MPMKVVCL covers the Bhopal, Narmadapuram, Gwalior and Chambal commissionerates. MPPKVVCL, the West Discom, runs Indore, Ujjain and Ratlam from Indore. MPPoKVVCL, the East Discom, runs Jabalpur, Rewa and Sagar. A page that files your Bhopal application with the West Discom, or links you to the Indore portal, has sent you to the wrong utility. Your file will sit unread there.
Commercial terms come from the Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (MPERC), not from the discom and not from us. Under the MPERC framework your system is capped at your sanctioned load, and every consumer category may apply. Exported units are credited against what you import rather than paid out as cash. Enhance your sanctioned load first if you want a larger array; it is a routine MPMKVVCL application and far cheaper than rebuilding an undersized one.
One practical consequence of the split: the Bhopal division offices, the inspection teams and the escalation contacts you may need are all MPMKVVCL's, reachable through portal.mpcz.in and its rooftop portal. Advice written for an Indore installation, including office addresses and processing habits, does not transfer. We file under the right company from the start.
