Locate your normal monthly UGVCL bill in the first column and follow that row. It gives the capacity your bill can justify, the market price range before subsidy and the units a Deesa roof should produce each month. It also shows the clear roof area you need and the payback if the house uses most of its own power.
These are indicative market ranges for Deesa in 2026, not a Heaven Green Energy quotation. Your price changes with the roof (old bazaar terrace, RCC bungalow slab, sheet shed or farmhouse roof) and how high the structure sits. The cable run to the meter, the hardware specified and any slab repair also move it. Subsidy figures are the central PM Surya Ghar slabs from pmsuryaghar.gov.in and apply to residential connections only. Rooftop solar systems attract 5% GST on the equipment since 22 Sep 2025. A supply-and-install contract taxes 30% of the value as installation service at 18%, so the blended rate on a typical quote is about 8.9%.
The subsidy column tops out at 3 kW, and that shapes the sensible size for most Deesa homes. PM Surya Ghar pays ₹30,000 for each of the first two kilowatts and ₹18,000 for the third. Beyond that it pays nothing. After the full claim, a 3 kW system here costs roughly ₹1,02,000 to ₹1,47,000 of your own money. Every kilowatt past 3 kW is yours to fund, so it should be there because your consumption needs it.
Deesa roofs split two ways. The older lanes around Lathi Bazar, Sadar Bazar and Risala Bazar have tight terraces, shared parapets and staircases too narrow for anything but hand-carried material. The societies that grew along the highway and Gayatri Mandir Road have open RCC slabs with room for a raised frame and a short run to the meter. Most of the spread inside each price band comes from that difference, not from the modules.
One more Deesa cost: dust. Wind off the Banas riverbed and dry potato fields coats arrays quickly between November and May. Plan a tap or a washing point near the array before installation, because carrying buckets up a bazaar staircase every three weeks is how cleaning stops happening.
Why there is no rupee saving in that table
We do not print a rupee saving for Deesa. The figure depends on your UGVCL tariff category, sanctioned load, fixed charges and how much generation you use in daylight rather than export. A house where the AC runs through the afternoon saves differently from one locked up until the shop closes in the evening. Bring two recent bills to the survey and we will work out the saving from your own consumption, not from an average. Prefer to work it out yourself first? Put your bill into our
