Price, size and savings Find your bill. Read across.
Most Jalgaon solar pages hide the price behind a callback form or repeat a national average that fits nobody. This table answers the question outright. Find your monthly bill in the left column, then read across for size, monthly units, roof area and the cost after subsidy.
Indicative Jalgaon market ranges for 2026, covering Tier-1 modules, a branded inverter, galvanised structure, protection gear and installation. These are not a Heaven Green Energy quotation. Subsidy figures are the central PM Surya Ghar amounts published on pmsuryaghar.gov.in. Generation assumes a shadow-free, roughly south-facing roof.
Size against units, not rupees. Read the units figure off your last Mahavitaran bill rather than the amount payable, because units are what a solar system actually cancels. The roof column says shadow-free for a reason. In the old city around Jilha Peth and Baliram Peth, a neighbour's parapet or overhead water tank may shade the array two hours a day. That shade costs more output than people expect. An elevated structure pays for its extra steel inside a couple of years.
The 3 kW cliff decides most Jalgaon orders. PM Surya Ghar pays nothing above the third kilowatt. The subsidy covers roughly a third of a 3 kW system but only about an eighth of a 10 kW one. If your bill sits on the border, 3 kW returns more rupees per rupee spent.
A cheap Jalgaon quote is cheap in the structure, not the glass. Galvanising thickness, cable gauge, earthing and surge protection separate the bottom of each band from the top. They also decide whether the array is still bolted down after a June squall off the Tapi valley. Ask for a written Bill of Materials with make, model and quantity. Without one you are comparing nothing.
Watch the roof you are actually buying for. A lot of Jalgaon housing is RCC slab with a parapet, which is straightforward. Sheet roofs over workshops, godowns and pack-houses are not. The fixing detail has to suit the purlin spacing, and the sheet has to be sound enough to carry the load for twenty-five years. If a surveyor quotes a sheet roof without going up and checking the purlins, the number is a guess.
Why there is no rupee saving in that table
You will notice the table shows no rupee saving. That number depends on the tariff slab you personally sit in, which is printed on your own Mahavitaran bill and differs between consumers and categories. Guessing it here would be dishonest. Bring twelve months of bills to the free survey and we will work your exact figure out in front of you. Prefer to work it out yourself first? Put your bill into our
