Price, size and savings Find your bill. Read across.
Most Morbi solar pages hide the price behind a callback form or quote an all-India average that means nothing in Saurashtra. This table answers it outright. Find your monthly bill in the left column, then read across for size, generation, roof area and cost after subsidy.
These are indicative Morbi market ranges for 2026 covering Tier-1 modules, a branded inverter, a galvanised mounting structure, protection equipment and installation. They are not a Heaven Green quotation. Subsidy amounts are the central PM Surya Ghar figures published on pmsuryaghar.gov.in. Generation assumes a shadow-free, roughly south-facing roof.
Size against units, not rupees. Read the units consumed off your PGVCL bill rather than the amount payable, because units are what an array cancels and the amount moves with slab and fuel charges. The word shadow-free in that roof column is doing real work too. In the older lanes off Nagar Dwaraja and Lakhdhirwas, roofs sit close together. An overhead water tank clipping the array for two hours a day quietly removes a tenth of your annual yield.
The 3 kW cliff decides your economics. The subsidy pays ₹30,000 for each of the first two kilowatts and ₹18,000 for the third, then nothing above that. So it covers roughly a third of a 3 kW system and around an eighth of a 10 kW one. On a borderline bill, 3 kW returns more rupees per rupee spent.
A cheap Morbi quote is cheap in the steel, not the panel. This is a windy, dusty, ceramic-dust-laden town, and the parts that fail first are the ones nobody photographs. That means galvanising thickness, cable gauge, earthing pits, surge protection and the wind-load design of the structure. Ask every vendor for a written Bill of Materials listing make, model and quantity. Without that sheet you are comparing two numbers, not two systems.
Why there is no rupee saving in that table
You will notice the table shows no rupee saving. That is deliberate. The rupee value of a generated unit depends on the slab rate you personally pay, printed on your own PGVCL bill. That rate differs between a domestic connection in Shakti Plot and a shop on Sanala Road. Bring your last bill to the free survey and we will work the exact figure out with you, in front of you. We use your own slab rather than an average pulled off a spreadsheet. Prefer to work it out yourself first? Put your bill into our
